Our Beliefs
Our Declaration of Faith. Rooted in Scripture, dedicated to the glory of the Most High God.
We are a non-denominational Christian organisation founded in response to the high calling of God. Our vision is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help people develop the capacity for a quality life. Through the knowledge of Christ and the accurate interpretation of Scripture, we seek to establish faith, purpose and focus in the hearts of people and empower them to live complete and meaningful lives.
At Wings of Faith International (WiFI), we believe that every person matters and that every individual has value and purpose. No matter one’s background or circumstances, we believe that lives can be transformed through faith, knowledge, empowerment and the message of grace. Our motto, “You Count”, reflects our conviction that each individual is an important part of humanity and deserves care, love and affection. We exist to impact lives, develop the inner self and propagate the Gospel of Grace while promoting peaceful coexistence among humanity.
At WiFI, we believe in the glory of the Most High God and in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are committed to building a strong, robust and resilient spirit in people through biblical teaching and spiritual development. We believe that understanding the Scriptures correctly provides a sound blueprint for spiritual life and equips individuals to navigate today’s social, economic and political challenges. Guided by these convictions, we believe in:
• The propagation of the Gospel of Grace;
• Salvation and the remission of sins;
• Accurate interpretation of the Bible and Scriptures;
• Faith, purpose and focus;
• Spiritual growth and development of the inner self;
• Emotional and social empowerment;
• Leadership development and human capacity building;
• Peaceful coexistence among humanity; and
• Outreach and community impact.
Our biblical doctrine is as follows:
Man was born into sin and with sin come death(Romans 5:12). We believe that it is the desire for God that all men be saved( 1Timothy 2: 3-4). Christ died for all our sins( 1 John 2:2). Believing in Christ name alone is enough to obtain eternal life( John 1:12). By the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we have peace with God( Romans 5:1). We have redemption through the blood of Christ the forgiveness of our sins(Ephesians 1:7). For those who believed in the finished works of Christ have been justified( Romans 3:19-4:5; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9, and Titus 3:5). God is true to his faithfulness. He gives us eternal life and no one can pluck us out of his hand (John 10:28-29). God will not cast anyone who believes in out( John 6:37).
Every believer has two natures. The first nature is the flesh (Psalm 51:5, Romans 5:14, John 3:6.) We do not lose our sin nature once we are saved. The second nature is the spiritual man ( John 3:9). We can still walk according to our old nature( Galatians 5:16-17, Romans 6:13-15). But it is God’s desire that we our members as instruments of righteousness (Romans 5:13). Notwithstanding that we can be children of God, it is the desire of the Lord that we become is disciples( John 8:31).
All people face a judgment (Heb. 9:27) “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” People who believed in the finished works of Christ will face the Judgment Seat of Christ(1 Corinthians 3:12–15, 2 Corinthians 5:10,Romans 14:10). In this judgment, believers will not be judged for their faith in Christ as Savior, but for their faithfulness in following Christ as Lord. Therefore, believers would be evaluated or give account about how they lived their spiritual lives, specifically, the extent to which they have walked in accordance with the Scriptures and the gospel, which is the essence of true discipleship. One's works determines whether one is rewarded or denied rewards. Those who are denied rewards, are still saved because their works are not dependent on obtaining salvation.
By contrast, unbelievers will face the final judgment of Revelation 20:11-15, after Christ's return to earth as King.
